Ado-Ekiti customary court dissolves 26 year marriage for lack of sex

 

 A 26-year marriage between James Kayode Oguntuase, a 75 year old bricklayer and  his wife 55-year old Felicia a trader, was yesterday dissolved in court over lack of sundary acts and sex.

According to Vanguard, Oguntuase, had sued Felicia accusing her of denying him sex, adultery, stealing and stubbornness, and carrying out abortions for her three separate lovers and revealed that in 2013, he also took his estranged wife to court over sexual escapades.
He said she stole N35,000 meant for his carpentry business and begged the court to end the marriage and grand him full custody of their 6 children aged between 25-6 years.

the accused in her defense has denied all allegation. in her defense she said she only denied him sex because of ill-health and pleaded with the court not to dissolve her marriage.

The marriage was however dissolved by the court president sating that the marriage had broken down irretrievably since the two has failed to reconcile the matter on their own. The petitioner was also granted custody of the children under 18 years Akin;18,Ife;15, Racheal;12, Tolulope;6, while the two above 18 Caroline;25 and Peter;23 can live with whom ever they choose.

Oguntuase was also ordered by the court to find a new residence for his estranged wife which must not cost above N60,000 and not below N45,000 and he is to also pay for the transportation for her belongings
